How do I register my wrestler?
Create an account (or check out as a guest), add your household details once, add your athlete, pick their club, then pay at checkout. You can create an account after paying if you'd rather.
What does a membership cost?
An athlete membership is $30 if your club is a paid SCWAY member club, or $50 if it isn't. A $3 registration fee is added per membership.
What does membership include?
Membership covers your wrestler for the season under SCWAY's insurance, which includes Participant Accident Medical Coverage — limited medical benefits for eligible participant injuries occurring during covered SCWAY activities, subject to the policy's terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions. Clubs carry their own club membership and insurance separately. See the Insurance page for full details.
Does SCWAY's insurance replace my family's health insurance?
No. SCWAY's insurance does not replace a family's personal health insurance. Parents and guardians remain responsible for their child's medical expenses and should maintain appropriate health insurance coverage.
Can I get a Certificate of Insurance (COI)?
Yes. SCWAY can provide a Certificate of Insurance to qualifying schools, facilities, clubs, and event partners upon request. Send us a message at the bottom of this page with the requesting organization's name and address.
Why is there a small registration fee?
A $3 registration fee is added per membership to cover secure online payment processing.
Can I register more than one child in one payment?
Yes. Add each athlete to the same cart and pay for all of them together — the registration fee applies once per membership.
What is the Parent VIP Pass?
A $60 season pass that gets the holder in free to all local SCWAY events. Add it to the same cart as your athlete registrations. See the Parent VIP page for details.
What are the SCWAY zones?
SCWAY has six geographic competition zones. Zone 1 — all areas Elk Grove, CA and North. Zone 2 — areas south of Elk Grove, Merced, Modesto, Mother Lode, Turlock. Zone 3 — Bay Area, Salinas, Gilroy. Zone 4 — Fresno/Clovis area. Zone 5 — Bakersfield area. Zone 6 — south of the Grapevine. Zones are informational only: they group clubs by region and never affect pricing or eligibility. My club is not listed — what do I do?
Choose "My club isn't listed" in the club picker to request it. Your registration is never blocked; your athlete registers at the non-member rate until the club completes its membership.
I mistyped my child's name and it is now locked. How do I fix it?
Names lock once a membership is paid, because they are printed on the card and used for tournament pairing. Use "Request a correction" on the membership to submit a fix for review.
When does my membership expire?
Memberships and club insurance run with the season and renew September 1.
Where is my membership card?
Your card is issued once your payment is confirmed, usually within seconds. Find it under Memberships, and scan its QR code to verify it at events.
