SCWAY Insurance Coverage

SCWAY Wrestling, LLC maintains insurance coverage designed to help protect our organization, participants, member clubs, families, coaches, and event partners while participating in SCWAY-sanctioned wrestling activities.

Our coverage includes protection for a variety of risks associated with operating youth wrestling programs and hosting wrestling activities, including:

What the coverage includes

  • General Liability Insurance

Provides protection for covered claims involving bodily injury or property damage arising from SCWAY operations and activities.

  • Participant Accident Medical Coverage

Provides limited medical benefits for eligible participant injuries occurring during covered SCWAY activities, subject to the policy's terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions.

  • Sexual Abuse & Molestation Coverage

SCWAY carries specific coverage addressing claims involving sexual abuse or molestation, as shown on our current certificate of insurance.

  • Event and Facility Protection

When required by a written agreement, qualifying facilities and event partners may be listed as additional insureds for covered SCWAY-sanctioned operations.

Important Information for Families

SCWAY's insurance does not replace a family's personal health insurance. Parents and guardians remain responsible for their child's medical expenses and should maintain appropriate health insurance coverage.

All insurance coverage is subject to the actual policy's terms, conditions, limits, deductibles, exclusions, and requirements. The certificate of insurance itself specifically states that it does not modify or expand the coverage provided by the underlying policies.

SCWAY's goal is to provide a safe, well-organized wrestling environment while maintaining appropriate insurance protection for our organization, our member clubs, and the families we serve.
